The management of Trails West's activities is handled by a seven-person Board of Directors. The Board Members are Trails West volunteers who are elected from the membership for staggered two-year terms. The Board elects a President and Vice-President from among the members of the Board. Each of these officers serve two-year terms. The Board also appoints an unpaid Staff consisting of a Secretary and a Treasurer who serve until they resign or are replaced by the Board.

Because the terms of office on the Board are staggered, Trails West holds an election every year during the Winter. Three new members are elected in even numbered years and four are elected in odd numbered years. Interested? Why not become one of our elected Board Members?

Being a Trails West Board Member does not take much time. The Board may meet up to four times a year, but normally only meets three times. One of these meetings is always the day of the Annual Banquet. The other regularly scheduled meetings are on the second Saturday of July and the first Saturday of November.
