This Guide covers the Applegate Trail which starts at Lassen Meadows near present-day Imlay Nevada and ends near Ashland, Oregon.  It totally replaces the 1984 edition of the guide to this trail. That old edition is no longer correct and should not be used when driving the Applegate Trail. The contents and format of this new Guide are similar to the Guide to the California Trail.
